Little Monkeys

On Sunday afternoon, Marcus took the boys outside with him to rake leaves. At some point, they figured out that one of the small trees in our front yard is perfect for climbing. Marcus assured me he was spotting them the whole time :)

I am a 35-year-old mother of four. I spent my first twenty-two years in a small town in central Arkansas, and married my college sweetheart a few months after graduation. He and I taught English together in Wuhan (China) for a year, and then moved to Florida so he could attend medical school. Caleb and Ethan were born while we were in Florida, Lydia was born during medical residency in Alabama, and Naomi was born here in Tennessee. We have been very blessed with friends and family along the way. The past few years, our family has put down some roots in our new home of Tennessee. Our children are the joy and the challenge of our lives, and this blog is mostly about them.
